Sweet Shenanigans! |
Hi everyone! For those who celebrate Christmas, I hope you had an amazing Christmas! And, if you don't celebrate Christmas, I hope you've had an amazing winter (so far)! This year, for Christmas, my family hosted a small party/get-together with my close relatives. For New Years, we went to see The Rose Parade. The Rose Parade has floats with flower-covered exteriors, marching bands, equestrians, and more. One of my favorite floats was the 'Sweet Shenanigans' float made by students from Cal Poly with the help of some volunteers. This year, my
poor amazing aunt did an act of bravery (she
froze slept outside and saved our seat). Last year, I slept in the car nearby. This year, I slept in my uncle's home which was conveniently nearby and I woke up early (5:30 am) and rode my bike to the parade. It was about a 15-20 minute ride. It was freezing, I felt like my fingers were going to fall off and shatter. How did my aunt survive? I don't even know.... Anyway, that was basically my whole Winter Break right there. I spent the majority of my time staying in bed, browsing the web, watching Netflix, reading, eating, and doing nothing. I hope you've had an amazing Winter Break!
